Hiland's Chilled Mocha Egg Nog

Ingredients

1 1/2 tsp. instant coffee granules
1 Tbls. hot water
4 cups Hiland Egg Nog
2 Tbls. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 cup Hiland whipping cream
2 Tbls. confectioners’ sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Preparation

In a bowl, dissolve coffee in water. Add egg nog, brown sugar and cinnamon; whisk until sugar is dissolved. Chill. In a mixing bowl, beat whipping cream, confectioners’ sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form. Pour egg nog mixture into glasses; top with whipped cream.

Yield: 4 cups
