Glazed Baked Ham

Ingredients

1 fresh or smoked ham (about 12 pounds)
1 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1/4 cup pineapple juice
6 slices pineapple
6 maraschino cherries

Preparation

Place ham, fat side up, on rack in roasting pan. Roast at 350° for 3 to 3 1/2 hours, or until meat thermometer registers 162°. Combine brown sugar, prepared mustard and pineapple juice. Remove ham from oven about 45 minutes before roasting time is completed. Pour off excess fat; remove skin. Score fat, if desired. Spread one-third of the glaze on fat side of ham. Arrange pineapple slices and cherries on top, pressing firmly into soft fat. Return to oven; baste with remaining glaze at 15 minute intervals, continuing until ham is tender. Serve hot.
