Cream Tacos

Ingredients

2 pounds ground chuck
1 pound brick chili
1 can diced tomatoes and green chili peppers
1/2 onion, chopped
1 pound processed cheese spread
1 cup Hiland Heavy Whipping Cream
lettuce, favorite corn chips, veggies and Hiland Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Hiland Sour Cream
Salsa

Preparation

Brown ground beef and onion. Drain off fat. Stir in chili and tomatoes with green chili peppers. Simmer until well blended. Add processed cheese spread, stirring occasionally until cheese is melted. Remove from heat and add whipping cream. Serve meat on a bed of salad with chips, diced cucumbers, green peppers, tomatoes, celery, shredded carrots, and extra shredded cheese. Top with salsa and sour cream. This is a family favorite at our house and has been for years. My grown daughters, now 19 and 21, still often request this recipe at our family gatherings and birthday celebrations. It is a yummy way to have all the food groups in one simple dish that everyone will enjoy!
