Cheese Ring

Ingredients

16 oz. Hiland sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
3/4 cup mayonnaise
5 green onions, minced (use only the white part)
Pinch of garlic salt or to taste
Pinch of cayenne pepper

1 10 oz. jar raspberry preserves
Thin wheat crackers

Preparation

Stir together cheese and mayonnaise. Add onions, garlic salt, cayenne and stir to mix.
Spray ring mold with cooking spray. Spoon cheese mixture into mold and refrigerate at least 2 hours (overnight is best). Invert onto plate, spoon raspberry preserves into center of cheese mold. Serve with thin wheat crackers. Tell guests to try a little of the cheese ring with a bite of the preserves on a cracker. Very good!

Makes approximately 16 servings.
