Halloween Egg Nog White Hot Chocolate

This recipe is all Treat and no Trick! Hiland Halloween Egg Nog makes this Creamy White Hot Chocolate perfectly decadent with just a hint of nutmeg. Top each mug of steaming hot chocolate with whipped cream and Halloween themed sprinkles for some extra spooky festive flare.

Ingredients

Egg Nog

  • 16 ounces Hiland Dairy Halloween Egg Nog
  • 5 ounces high-quality white chocolate, finely chopped

Garnishes

  • Whipped topping
  • Holiday Sprinkles

Directions

  • In a small saucepan over medium flame, combine egg nog and white chocolate. Stir continuously, heating the mixture to steaming*.
  • Once steaming, pour evenly into mugs and top with whipped cream and sprinkles.
  • NOTE – do not bring the hot chocolate mixture to a simmer or boil, only heat it to steaming.
