(SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – July 7, 2007) Hiland Dairy introduces a new 6-ounce yogurt that will replace its 8-ounce variety.

Grocery stores have already begun stocking shelves with the new 6-ounce cups, as Hiland Dairy makes a gradual transition to phase out the old containers.

The switch came as a response to consumer demand for more convenient, on-the-go sized breakfast and snack foods. New labeling will showcase the lower calorie content, with some new flavors such as Blackberries-n-Cream, Pomegranate and Raspberry, containing as few as 70 calories.
