Quality Chek'd Names Hiland Dairy Plant as Finalist For Plant Quality Excellence Award

Springfield, MO-based plant contending for Quality Chekd’s Gingrich Award

Naperville, Ill. – April 15, 2008 — Quality Chekd Dairies, Inc. selected Hiland Dairy Foods Co., Springfield, Missouri, plant as one of the four finalists for the Wayne Gingrich Award, recognizing the best single-production plant. Quality Chekd, a member-owned organization of independent dairy processors, will announce the finalists at its 2008 QCS Leadership Conference, April 20-22, 2008, at the Hotel InterContinental in Dallas, Texas.

The Wayne Gingrich Award acknowledges the member dairy that achieves the highest annual scores for lab tests, plant assessments, customer communications, quality standards, and quality measurement and control. This award is named in honor of the first production director and a co-founder of Quality Chekd.

Hiland Dairy, Springfield plant will receive a plaque bearing its achievement as finalist for the Wayne Gingrich Award.
