Hiland Dairy was proud to be involved in the 2010 Summer Fest at High Park in Derby, Kan. on Saturday, August 28. This fun event featured dozens of booths to introduce the community to healthy hobbies, and each booth featured a free "hands-on" activity. In addition, guests enjoyed the movie Curious George under the stars. Contests, fireworks, music, dancers, performers and an ice cream social featuring Hiland Dairy added to the festivities!

The Missouri State Bears hosted a "Meet the Bears Night" at Plaster Field on Wednesday, Aug. 25. The event featured free Hiland Dairy Ice Cream for fans, as well as interactive games, spirit squads, autograph stations and promotional giveaways. Go, Bears!

Just outside the Headquarters House, on the site of the Battle of Fayetteville, the Historic Society hosted its 40th Annual Ice Cream Social from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 21. This yearly ritual marks the end of summer and gives attendees an opportunity to connect with the rich history of the area. Homemade cakes and Hiland Dairy Ice Cream were served, and guests were treated to the music of local musicians, tours of the historic gardens and Headquaters House, an antique cars display and more. Support for the event was provided in part by Hiland Dairy and other fine partners.

Hiland Dairy and the Milk Mustache tour stopped in Springfield, Missouri, on July 31. The tour aims to help moms build strong families by showing them that serving milk at dinnertime is an easy, affordable way to help ensure their families get the nutrition they need.

Hiland Dairy participated in the Cessna Kids' Korner at Wichita's Riverfest celebration. Guests were able to try complimentary samples of exciting new healthy snack alternatives, including snack size low-fat cottage cheese, "Healthwise" probiotic yogurt and the new "YoPhoria" drinkable yogurt smoothie.
